The Institute for Research on Women, Gender and Sexuality Oral History was conducted by the Columbia Center for Oral History Research. From 2014-2015 interviews were conducted with current current and past directors of IRWGS, affiliated and allied faculty, administrators, and students. In total the project documents the perspective of 36 individuals with over 90 hours of audio and video. The associated website features selections from the oral history interviews as well as associated archival materials and ephemera. The full transcripts and recordings are available through the Columbia University Oral History Archives.
As Project Fellow, I designed and built the website which acts as an online interactive archive for the project. I also personally reviewed and edited 56 of the 68 transcripts, and conducted audio editing for the 39 excerpts online.
